Spiti Valley (Himachal Pradesh) 

Pictures speak a thousand words, hence the blog full of pictures! These are from my recent bike ride to Spiti Valley. A complete disconnect from the world we live in! The warm warm hospitality and harsh weather will knock you off your feet, if the sheer beauty of the humongous mountains and the barren terrain hasn't already!!

The Ki Monastery stands out like an edifice against the surrounding sky and barren mountains 

The entry into Spiti is quite alluring!

The snow capped mountains lure you on towards them! Alas you never quite reach them.

Its a pretty tight riding environment, with roads literally carved out of the mountains!

The experience of riding through running water falls is quite common all the way up to Spiti

Life in the fast lane :)

Since I have been too lazy to write a blog about all the things that I have been upto over the past few months, well I thought I'd would make a collage of some of the images i have collated and put it up!! Needless to say, you can infer that all I have been doing is having a lot of fun apart from spending endless hours in transit!!
